Sorry, your message couldn’t be submitted because we’re having trouble communicating with our servers. Please try again later.

I tried to upload my app, but it always says "Sorry, your message couldn’t be submitted because we’re having trouble communicating with our servers. Please try again later."  and not accepted. Are there any trobles or something wrong with my procedure?

  • This can happen for a couple of reasons, but our error messages are currently too generic to pinpoint the problem:

    1. You may have a disallowed character in the app name or description (commonly, an emoji is the culprit).
    2. One of the images being used may be in a format that is not supported.
  • I have been having this exact issue for the last day and a half.  This if for a Beta version that uses the same images I use for a published watch face and there is no description other than a version number.  All text which is just version numbers has been deleted and re-typed.

    The message is in red "Sorry, your message couldn’t be submitted because we’re having trouble communicating with our servers. Please try again later."

    Anyone else having this issue or know other things to try?

  • Update on this red error.  I opened a new Incognito Safari window and tried to up the exact same information and this time it was accepted.
