Watchfaces not more visible in store

Hi, my both watchfaces are missing in store since some weeks.

Analog Switch hybrid

Analog Switch Sports

Both faces are completely free and have the categories ‚analog watchfaces‘

The faces were placed at position 5…10 before, and have over 100000 downloads.

After an update both faces are missing.  The search find both faces without problem.

Is it possible that the faces or developer blocked as spam?

  • This topic has been done plenty in this forum, have a search for it. Simple answer is you've only had 2 reviews in 2 months for one of them, and no reviews in 4 months for other

  • Searching, or even just reading some posts in the 1st page of the forum is indeed useful. Probably related to the developer verification.

  • I have start the verification some weeks before. I have no response for that.

    The faces are completely free.

Are ten bad reviews better then 2 good reviews.
good reviews are always written much less than bad ones.

Analog Switch hybrid have over 750 reviews with an average of 4,6 and almost 500000 downloads, it supports all latest devices. The users love it and now it is kicked from store.
Do I have to program errors now, so that I get bad reviews??

    I don’t understand this..

  • This is not related to developer verification—I can confirm your DSA registration is complete. In fact, if you still required registration, your apps would not be visible at all.

Your apps have not been kicked from the store, which is apparent since you can still view the app listings by searching for them. We also do not have a "spam" mechanism—either an app is approved and available, or it is rejected and entirely removed. In case of rejection, the reason is clearly communicated to the developer so they may address it (e.g. copyright violation, inappropriate content, etc.).

I don't have a definitive answer explaining exactly why the apps do not appear on the front page of the store anymore (I assume they were in trending or most popular at some point), but it's likely a combination of factors, such as a lack of recent reviews.

  • With my apps, they can come and go from the front page in the web based store or from within categories and I just kind of figure it's based on what's happening with other apps (as there are hundreds!)

  • Thanks Brandom for the detailed answer. I don't really understand the principle. If an app is no longer visible because of missing reviews, then no new user will find it. This means there will be no new reviews and the app will never be visible again. That's what happened with my second app, 'Analog Switch Sports'. It hasn't appeared in the store since the beginning of 2025. My app, 'Analog Switch hybrid', disappeared two weeks ago. And according to this principle, it won't appear again either. That's frustrating.

  • I'm not sure what your expectation is here. There are thousands of apps on the store that get ranked by popularity, etc., so it's possible for things to shift around. It's not that your app is invisible or hidden—it just isn't at the top of whichever dynamic category you were viewing before.

Where had you seen it where it is no longer visible? I can check with the App Store team and see if I can get a better explanation for why it's no longer where you saw it to avoid any more speculation.

  • ThanksBrandom, it was ca on Position 6-10 of the top analog faces before it was hidden from one day of another.

  • Everyone wants their apps to be more visible, and there can be thousands of apps in the same category, where only the top 125 or so show even with "more", and things can change fairly often
