[REQUEST] Windguru app

Hi all, Windguru is a weather site specifically aimed at sports such as windsurfing and sailing. It offers very granular information for various spots around the world. It would be very useful to have this as a widget on the Fenix 3 and probably others too. Anyone fancy creating one?

The site do not offer direct xml feeds but are open to discussions regarding new ways to deliver their data. They already have a WAP service but the output wouldn't be great on a watch face.

+1. Really interesting for something compatible with Instinct Solar Surf Ed for sure.

The Instinct doesn't support CIQ, so even if something was done for other watches, you couldn't get it on the Instinct.

I did take a look at windguru, but it doesn't look like there is an API can can be used with CIQ.

I have understand about CIQ support on Instinct model but I don't understand why. What differences with other models ?

Bummer!!!

I have tried to find a watch face (FR 945) that is similar to Instinct solar surf. Looking for Wind, Tide and Wave data.

So I guess that is the reason why I didn't find one similar to the solar because its not in CIQ compatible.

Watch faces on the instinct are not written in CIQ. In face, none of the native watch faces on any device are. I don't live anywhere need a large body of water, but have you looked at the SurfLine Widget?

Yes i did come across this app. It had some pretty bad reviews but i tried it anyway. It installed but wouldnt open. Did all the standard troubleshooting steps but gave up after a while.

This app gets good reviews but its suspended at the moment.
