[REQUEST] Widget toggle Bluetooth & GPS

I'd love a widget that allows you to toggle Bluetooth & GPS.

It would provide a quick and easy way to manage connections and battery consumption. Currently you'll have to do dive into the default settings app which requires multiple swipes and presses.

A more advanced widget could allow for more toggles (like backlight time-out, glonass gps, etc) and customisation (pick and order toggles etc).

Is such a widget currently possible?
Who'd be interested in this widget?

This is not currently possible. ConnectIQ is not supposed to allow apps to make persistent system changes. An application could enable/disable gps while that app is running, but only for that app.

Hmm that's too bad! Thank you for informing me though.
Has Garmin made any statements towards ConnectIQ development? From my layman's perspective it seems most beneficial when the platform is more open. I can't wrap my head around restricting access.

They haven't, but it sounds like this was a design decision from the beginning.
