How about a simple tracking app for inline skating (in this case for vivoactive)? Could be similar to the apps for biking and running (speed, pace, distance & calories)...
What device are you using? What would differentiate this app from the built-in biking or running apps. Note that some devices allow you to create your own activity profile with a limited set of activity options. If you have such a device (920xt or fenix3), have you tried setting up a custom profile?
Well, ConnectIQ doesn't have an activity type for Inline Skating, so an app can't create an actual session for that activity type. The list of supported activity types in ConnectIQ are listed here. The closest supported activity type is probably cross-country skiing.
I uploaded an Activity Recorder app last night that does a little of what you're looking for. It doesn't currently have support for pace/speed data fields, but that should be simple enough to add.
I could easily port to the fenix3, I just need a victim to test it. That said, I'm not sure how useful it is. The fenix3 and 920xt allow users to create activity profiles for many more activity types than the vivoactive. For example, on a 920xt, you can create a custom activity profile for each of these types.

Does the Fenix 3 support Multisport - Brick or will be implemented in the next FW release? Any news for ANT+ scale?
Yes, it is a great idea, Inline skating app is missing. I use Cardio with GPS, but in the case of Fenix 3 it is pity not to use more information as for example "tempo" of skating.
Have you tried using one of the running activity types with GPS? It might detect you cadence like it would for a run. In that case the issue is just that you've selected a substitute activity type that doesn't capture the data you want.
