App/Widget Idea: "Toggle activity auto-lock"

Here's the problem: in some activities, I want screen auto lock ON to prevent accidental button presses.

In other activities, I want screen lock OFF.

The screen auto-lock (never, during activity, not during activity) is buried in the system settings.

I'd love to see a simple app or widget that would let me toggle activity lock on or off.

This setting isn't something that can be toggled by a Connect IQ application. In general, Connect IQ does not have the ability to change settings on the device. Making this setting specific to each sport…

This setting isn't something that can be toggled by a Connect IQ application. In general, Connect IQ does not have the ability to change settings on the device. Making this setting specific to each sport is a request we can pass on to the device teams.

That would be a fantastic solution Brian!

If anyone needs convincing, here's an example:

Indoor rowing: auto-lock ON prevents accidental button presses as you're gripping the handle
Running: auto-lock OFF for easy access to lap functions, and no real danger of accidental button presses

I'm sure other people would have their own preferences too.
