Would it be possible to develop an app to disable the step counter whilst in the car? I drive for at least two hours a day and have noticed that I can gain around 1500 steps in a day due to movement when turning, gear shifts, etc.

ConnectIQ cannot change system settings, so this is not possible.
I think it would be useful to have a menu entry from the steps widget (just like Sleep Mode on a 920XT) that allowed the step counter to be temporarily disabled, and maybe some flag in ConnectIQ that the step counter is temporarily disabled so that watch faces could indicate the condition to the user.
I realize this is an enhancement request to the steps widget on all of the devices as well as an enhancement to ConnectIQ. Is there some place I should take this request? It doesn't seem that anyone from the product teams reviews posts in the device forums.
