Is it technical possible to develop a datafield for edge 1030 to control garmin virb? (start/stop recording, take photo). At this moment, the possibility to use the remote control function is not very handy when riding.
The tiny red dot and camera symbol from the pull down menu (Edge 1000) are next to useless when wearing gloves. There used to be a full page slider screen for the Edge 500/800 510/810 but that was not carried forwards to later models. There is the option of the separate bar mounted remote (£43) but there are only so many Garmin and other products you can fit on one set of bars! Like you, I would love to see something available direct from Garmin or in the IQ store. Please APP builders - can you help :-) :-)
