Bonjour à tous, je suis à la recherche d'une appli qui ferait sonner la montre une fois la batterie à 100% afin d'éviter des surchauffes de batterie.

Merci

Hello everyone, I'm looking for an app that would ring the watch once the battery to 100% to avoid battery overheating.

Thank you

    Personne?

  • Are you charging during an activity? Is your watch really warming up when it reaches 100% and you leave it plugged in?

If it's not during an activity, then I don't think there's much that can be done here, since watchfaces aren't allowed to beep or vibrate.

Also, under certain circumstances (or for certain watches), the charge screen will be displayed when you plug the watch in anyway

If it's during an activity, it should be possible to write a data field app to do this.

This really should not be a concern for our devices, or any modern electronic device with a built in battery charger. The chargers are fully automatic, and will turn off once the battery reaches capacity. This is a critically important part of the charging mechanism for Lithium Ion batteries, as overcharging them will cause them to burst.

Some devices may choose to utilize more power hungry modes (brighter screen, more radio power, ect) when connected to external power due to the extra power that is available. This plus the additional current required to run the charger can cause some electronics to heat up while charging. I don't believe I've ever noticed this effect with any of our wearables, and the effect should also improve when the battery reaches 100% since the charger turns off.
  • if you write a watch face yourself one way to draw your attention to the fact that the battery is full by changing the background to another color when the battery is above 95%

if the requestApplicationWake api would start working properly then creating a widget with this functionality might be an alternative to show a message + vibration.
