Downhill biking app!?!

Hi!

Is it possible to create a downhill biking app? Or is this feature controlled by connect?

Explained:
I want an app, that don register and show elevation gain.

It works with the resort skiing app, but i would like it to register as a bike activity from the start. I noticed that there is downhill as an option in garmin connect.

Is thoose settings in the app? or inte the connect interface?

One key feature with having this downhill biking app is that the segment feature that is implemented for other biking apps would be available also for this app.
Instead of using the skiing app I mean.

I just ran into this issue today!

I would need the normal features for MTB + Downhill or Alpine Skiing.

My default Ski setting "knows" when I am riding the lift and does not log any of that data.…

I could change my Bike App or create a new one.

Please tell me more which fields you would like to see.

I just ran into this issue today!

My default Ski setting "knows" when I am riding the lift and does not log any of that data. Then immediately starts recording as soon as I begin going downhill.

I wold like to see a DH MTB app count my "runs" as well as Speed and cadence. Id like it to have "grit" & "flow" metrics as well. Basically combine the information in MTB and Skiining/snowboarding.
