Several here seem to have a direct line to Garmin developers. Not sure how to report a bug. Maybe someone reading this can send a note to the folks in Garmin engineering. The Fenix 5 Plus (probably others) detect the subtle wrist movement while in a cycling activity as steps. So my step count on my Fenix 5 Plus watch reports crazy high steps for my day. It would seem like an obvious fix to simply ignore step detection while in an active activity that is associated with cycling.
