I used Nike's TomTom-enabled GPS Sportswatch for about seven years. I loved it, but earlier this year, Nike decided to kick all their wearable users to the curb, disabling all uploads from any devices they ever sold. Watches can still connect to TomTom satellites, but cannot offload any data, as Nike failed to make their code open-sourced after the shutdown.
So here I am. I bought a Garmin VivoActive HR, as it had all the features I wanted in a small form factor (Critical for a track runner like me).
Now to the idea: I have grown fond of the old watch face on the Nike device
It was extremely simple. No frills. The live battery icon was followed by day of week, month, and day of month oriented vertically along the right hand side of the screen (Se attachment)
I have tried re-creating this by modifying the numerous simple watch face concepts already available. I have also tried creating a custom watch face, but haven't been able to get the Time text big enough, or the other information formatted vertically, which I think is the main challenge here.
Aside from enjoying the look, I think it would be a hilarious way to show my disdain for Nike after abandoning their customers.
If anyone has the necessary skills to create this, it would be much appreciated!
