Automated regular sync to watch

Hello,

As I seem unable to find this in the software on my Fexis 5S+ I wonder if it is possible to make an app for this.

Reasoning:
My Watch uses seriously more battery power while continuously syncing to my phone.
Now I switch Menu - Settings - Phone to "Off" and manually sync once in a while, this is kind of annoying.

Idea:
Have a setting or an app which provides for choice:
-sync continuously or regularly or manually
-when regularly is choose, an interval can be choosen
-the watch will wait this time and then connect to the phone, sync all data and switch BT off again

Easiest solution would be for the current Switch Phone Off / Phone On to be a pull down menu which allows to choose "BT on continuously, Sync every 5 min., Sync every 10 min., . . . . Sync manually.

If I am wrong and this option is in some way available, I would highly appreciate somebody point me in the right direction.

This isn't something that can be done with Connect IQ.

Hello Jim,

Thanks for the answer. Of course, not really what I wanted to read, but then again, I was afraid of that answer.
Nevertheless I think Garmin would be able to implement this, if enough people see the use for it.
I feel it would definitely save me battery power.

This forum is only about Connect IQ and 3rd party app ideas. You're looking for something Garmin themselves would have to do in the firmware, so you have to suggest it by way of the link I posted.
