New feature to select all activities within an encircled area map

Hi, I have been thinking about a feature of garmin connect that I'd love to see implemented in future releases. I have lots of activities in my history and often I do different training sessions in different places. The current advanced filter options in the "my activity" window are not too bad, but what I have in mind could be very useful in some cases. I believe it would be a great software tool if I could specify an area on a map by encircling it and the software could then list all the activities that have happened within that area. This would be fairly easy for recurring running activities on loop tracks or similar. Is there a plan to develop such a feature or a way it could be requested from future software updates? What do you think?
