Swim Tempo Trainer

This will be really useful. Have ConnectIQ do what the Finis Tempo Trainer does. Vibrate every preset time interval for desired stroke rate.

If worn on the wrist, it can vibrate instead of beep.

This should be pretty easy to code. If no one does it, I might give it a go.

Unfortunately, there is no access to the Attention module (which makes it possible to generate tones and vibrations) from data fields, and there is no way to set properties (the frequency of beeps/vibrates). This means that you can't use the native swim functionality and get what you want. If you don't care for the built-in swim pages and data fields, then you could do it with an app.

Perhaps if enough people submit this via Garmin Ideas they will add this feature to the Fenix 3.

yeh this is a very basic feature similar to the metronome. Just a beep or vibrate ever X seconds please!

You could check COUNTU series products.
COUNTU Goal can be used as timer, lap counter, time/lap goal vibrate alarm.
COUNTU Tempo can be used as timer, lap counter, tempo trainer.
