Netatmo Thermostat

Hi all!

I'm Marco from Italy .I'm a SW engineer and I have been using from 1 year a pebble time. Now I started to take a look for a new device and I found out the vivoactive 3 could be the device i was looking for.
Since I have a lot of home automation I tried to search an app to set my home temperature but unfortunately I did not find...So i wrote it!

I use a netatmo thermostat , here below a simple video:

I don't know if the project could be interesting for anyone. Right now is a juts prototype : i set all the configuration parameters in the gcm but since i do not have any garmin device it's difficult to me
test all the stuff.Moreover since my idea was to buy a vivoactive 3 I did not support all other devices (with buttons).

I'm not stil really sure if I want to buy a vivoactive or the competitor fitbit ionic so if anyone wants to donate in order to help buiyng the vivoactive i'll release the app free of charge for other devices too.

You may want to check the "terms of use" for the forums, as what you have in your post may not fit with the paypal link and all. No offence, but you could be a scammer for all anyone knows. Have you ported your app and tried it in the sim?

Hi Jim,

sorry , actually i did not read the terms but I thought it was something legal. If i have to remove no worries , I'll do that.
By the way , the app is running in the simulator and I have been debugging with the eclipse environment : If anyone wants to see a video to proof that no problem at all.

is commercial, business-related or advertises or offers to sell any products, services or otherwise (whether or not for profit), or solicits others (including solicitations for contributions or donations);

I'm glad that you're interested in working with Connect IQ and hope that you've had a good experience so far! However, the request for donations violates out terms of use. Please remove the donation request and link from your post.

but if I'll publish the app on the store i saw people publishing donations..is that ok?

Basically, the app store is different than the forums when it comes to terms of use, but read the details.
