Maybe a simple widget that lets you select a few of your favorite MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, FIFA teams and the app returns the score in the latest game? This would allow a user to quickly/easily check a game score without needing to open a browser or phone app.
Nice idea, I’d like that a lot. It isn’t ideal but it must be possible to setup text notifications for some of these sports/teams, that you could then pickup from the watch, would mean having the phone with you though. Would be a great feature if it could go direct to the watch without the phone. The Tour de France and World Cup etc should get behind this idea, it’s a missed marketing opportunity for them surely?
Looks like this is now an available widget, gSports...not free. I tried it out and it was really buggy. Totally locked up my watch but the concept was good.
