Could someone build a widget that with a single press would record the current location and send a pothole report to our api at lovecleanstreets.com?
If this is of interest let me know and I can set you up with an App Key to get full API access on our test system.
Some background - our cloud service will route these reports to authorities automatically so they can respond. Check out our Love Clean Streets phone apps to see how they work and you can visit http://api.mediaklik.com for our public API and lovecleanstreets.com for the public web site. We normally require an email address to validate the report but I think for this we could enable an anonymous report (unless there is a way to get an email or mobile number?)
My use case is car passenger or cyclist, and possibly runner(?)
We could enable other types of reports such as graffiti, fly-tipping, etc but the important thing is keeping the UI simple and very easy and quick to use.
