I have an idea for a Garmin app that would pair with an android app that is already in development which collects patients' vitals and displays them to the user of the app. I would like to make a Garmin companion for this app, but am not very knowledgeable in Garmin development and am looking for ideas on how to open a data stream from an android device to a Garmin watch so that an app on the watch could display the same vitals as the app on the phone.
For anyone looking to do the something similar, there is a sample app in the Garmin Connect IQ SDK called Comm that shows how to send and receive messages between a phone and watch.
