Thanks.. that’s a way, but we want the algorithm to take into consideration the extra weight and how it affects our bodies. That way we get a thougher run.

That already exists since a long time. The added weight increases the physical effort and metabolism, and that can be measured by the increased heart rate and respiration rate, and the decreased HRV. All of that is monitored by Garmin watches, and reflected in metrics like Training Load, Training Status, etc.

Ah, but somehow it messes with our VO2Max calculation? I’ll see if I follow your tip, perhaps create a new acivity type by copy Trail Run and disable VO2Max for it.
