Hi, Is it possible to add Dance Fitness and Pole Fitness activities to the Garmin Epix Gen2?

Currently, there is a Dance Fitness badge available, but it’s not possible to claim it. I also think this would be a great opportunity to introduce a new Pole Fitness badge.

In the store, I see for example the F3b Dance+ app already allowing it: Connect IQ Store | Watch Faces and Apps | Garmin

Yes, but that’s not what I meant. Since we pay so much for our Garmins, I thought there would be a standard option to add such activities to our watches.

Furthermore, since Garmin introduces badges that can be earned, it seems to me that there should be a way to obtain them without having to spend extra money on additional apps.

You are posting to the Connect IQ Ideas forum, so we can only offer you solutions made by 3rd party CIQ developers. If you want a change from Garmin, you have to contact Garmin. I recommend suggesting it to them at Share Ideas | Garmin

You can. Record the dance with any available activity (i.e. HIIT, Cardio, or whatever else), and then change the activity type to Dance Fitness in Garmin Connect.
