Re: Garmin Connect - Can I add an exercise that is not listed in the workouts exercise list.

When I'm making a workout there are some exercises that are not listed and I would like to request if they can be added by the software developers?

I have not found the following:

TBX - Total Body Extensions

Elevated Push-Up

Step Jacks

Stationary Lunge

Thank You!

  • Did you ever figure this out?  I really like using the watch during weight training, but being limited by the pre-programed exercises is super annoying.

  • You can take any pre-programmed workout and edit it in Garmin Connect so that you can totally personalize your workout as to what exercises, reps, sets, weight, etc. You can edit in the mobile app or in the on-line browser. Not sure if that is what you meant.

I'm asking if some other exercises can be added to the list to choose from that are specifically low impact and Bodyweight only.

    Hope that clarifies.

    Thanks!

Adding new exercise definitions is not something that can be done with a Connect IQ app. The list is fix, and only Garmin can add new items on the list. I recommend suggesting it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin. You can also use an exercise for the same muscle group, and add your name into the Notes.
