Auto step goal minimum

Is there an option to put in a minimum amount of steps for the auto step goal function?? I like the auto, but I don't want it to go under 8500 steps.

Wrong forum. You have to ask it on the forum for your watch model (see the menu at the top, and find your model there). This thread is for ideas for 3rd party apps developers, and the auto-step feature cannot be modified by any CIQ app.

However, AFAIK, to my best knowledge, no Garmin model offers such limit for auto-steps. You can suggest it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin
