Stemming from a discussion with Training Peaks support staff, I was recommended to bring up this issue to the folks at Garmin.
"This is happening because Garmin is writing their native power channel as 'power' which is the same name as Stryd's power channel. You cannot have two data channels with the same name and get reliable data/ analysis.
Since this is a Garmin file, and Stryd Garmin IQ app I would suggest your reach out to Garmin and Stryd and inquire why both power channels are named/written as "power." I suspect Garmin might have more control over the naming of the data channels but IQ apps are the responsibility of the app designer (Stryd). Essentially they both can't name their channel "power" using different data without causing issues in other apps."
What are the chances of getting a fix for more reliable Stryd power data outputs?
