Unable to retrieve iPhone advertisement packets.

I am trying to get it advertised on my iPhone app and then get it on my Garmin watch but it is not working.

I am able to scan with other scanning apps and raspberry pi.

Is there any way to get it to work?

With this app you can see everything a CIQ app can see as far as advertisements.

Not sure what it is with phones (maybe some of the flags), but I don't think anyone has seen a phone.

I was able to catch the Android adverts
Once you set up pairing with the watch and then scan it, you can catch it
I would like to do the same thing with my iPhone, but once I set up pairing, it automatically makes a connection attempt and pairs.
If I want to scan for advertisements, I need to be unpaired, so I am looking for a way to set the pairing settings and then not pair it!

Have you been able to connect to an Android phone? Which Android API does your phone have? Which model? With Jim's app, I am able to get advertisements from an Android phone but not to connect because my phone has a resolvable private address... I tried on an Edge 830... Resolvable private addressses requires at least BLE 4.2. Are Edge X30 head units BLE 4.2 ?

The device used is Venu 2 Plus.
