Follow Garmin's instructions to upload GPX to the Garmin Route builder on web Garmin Connect interface
Send route to device from mobile Garmin Connect
This is best done on a desktop (any OS), but totally doable on mobile too. It also bypasses the need to be hardwired and for Garmin Basecamp.
Or alternatively you could just grab the routeCourse ConnectIQ app and use their website to do all the heavy lifting.
