Garmin mute/unmute full volume control app for quick changes to phone volume.

It is the only application and functionality I miss from my previous Sony SW2.
It was very useful to mute the android phone without necessity of taking it out of the pocket or briefcase.
I would be also very grateful for this kind of simple application or widget.

My Forerunner 235 already has volume, play, pause, next track, previous track controls built in. No mute, but pause may do the trick. Maybe other models have this also? It works with the screen locked on my Android phone. You hold down the up arrow to access this.

The idea of this application/widget is to mute the phone (ring) using Garmin watch eg. when you have a bissines meeting.

I think you mentioned music control application.

I could not find direct application to control phone ringer volume from my Vivoactive but I found a kind of workaround.
All you have to do is to install Garmin tasker application or widget on your Garmin watch and eg Trigger application on your phone. In Garmin tasker you must add two positions to menu eg Mute and Ring using properities of Garmin tasker. Now when you press option Mute on your watch a notification that contains word Mute will appear in your phone. In Triger application you have to intercept this notification and assign ringer volume to 0. Similar procedure will be with Ring selection from your Garmin tasker menu.

I hope the idea is clear now. Using these apps you can do many many more things.
