I have looked, and cannot find an app that I found very useful previously when I used Polar devices. It is a guage of your activity, not just based on heartbeat, or steps, but total activity for the day. It took into account the "timed" activities, such as gym, group classes, swimming, etc, and combined them all into a fitness "score". This was much more accurate to determine one's activity for the day, rather than simple steps. After there aren't many "steps" in 50 laps in the pool, or weight training, but they can burn quite a few calories.
So, is anyone up to it? If anyone is willing, to take a chance, you can see the gauge on flow.polar.com, and see how they did it, but I would suggest not copying exactly their visual. Apparently, Polar uses different algorythms to calculate different activities, but that level of accuracy wouldn't be necessary, I don't think, just something that includes the "non-step" activities in the daily plan.
