RFID app

Is there any IQ software support for RFID? I know about Garmin Pay, I can pay using my watch, but I need my watch act as simple RFID tag (e.g. sending RFID Chip no.).

I have several scenarios for this function - act as door opener, using it at the entrance of my swimming pool (as well as lock my cabinet), act as my ski card when skiing etc.

The watches have to be able to send RFID signals, because of payment card. This solutions is harder since the transmitting data is changing. But I cannot find much simpler solution for just sending one and still the same Chip No.

CIQ doesn't have any access to this. Garmin Pay is a native app and doesn't use CIQ.

I don't want any access to Garmin Pay. By mentioned Garmin Pay I just wanted to say, that the watches have hardware to emulate common RFID chip card.

It's not accessing Garmin Pay, it's accessing NFC. There is no access to NFC from Connect IQ apps. Garmin pay can use NFC because it's not a CIQ app - it's written in native code.

That's exactly what I was afraid of. I don't understand why. There are so many useful scenarios to use watches as RFID tag.

Apple, for example, finally gave access to NFC last year.

Also Just checking in, I have a need to set up and Time unsanctioned race checkpoints, and monitor local weekly run check ins. If the watch would respond with a Serial, I can do all of the association on the back end with other software and a few Edge processors.
