I have noticed that the floors climbed can be in accurate when you are not climbing continuously like hiking or on really long stair cases.
when I’m at home I have a staircase that is approximately 8.75 feet tall. When I climb once I will sometimes get credit for a floor. The same when I go back down and up again. It is not consistent, sometimes I’ll get the correct number sometimes I’ll get none.
I was wondering if we might get more context as to how the calculation for floors works. It shows 10 feet up while moving arms, and if you chain the staircase it will compound the elevation change.
but I’d like to know if I need to go slower or need to pause at the top or the bottom. Or move my arms more. I’m going to be conducting trials and taking notes on how to better engage the tracking. But it would be great if it could be added to the official FAQ page that comes up on Google.
