With the Fenix having both bluetooth and WiFi, I was wondering if it could be possible to control WiFi connected bulbs such as Lifx...ideally directly through WiFi, or indirectly through your phone using bluetooth? Simple on/off function would be pretty cool!
There are a few apps in the store that are capable of doing this already. They all use your mobile phone as a bridge to the internet; this is a ConnectIQ requirement.
The former seems to be Android and Phillips Hue specific. The latter uses the IFTTT service as an intermediary, which allows it to work with many more types of devices. I happen to be the author of that one, and I'm working on an updated version that I hope to finish tonight.
