**EDIT** - vPower now works on Edge devices and does this.

Would anybody be interested in writing a Data Field compatible with the Garmin Edge series? I'm running the Edge 1000.
There is already a data field written:
Virtual Power Meter for Kurt Kinetic® Trainers

However it does not run on Edge, and the Garmin site throws errors any time I try to write to the developer (trouble communicating with server) - has thrown this error at me for 2 months now.
And the dev states they used the logic from Kurt Kinetic here:

I'm not willing to shell out money on power meters since they can't transfer from bike to bike, but it would be really sweet to have this running on my trainer without having a dedicated kinetic computer along-side the Garmin Edge.
