Connect IQ integration for Freestyle Libre 2 CGM

Any chance of a Connect IQ app to see data from a Freestyle Libre 2 CGM in Garmin? One has just been released for Dexcom and I know there are some other ways of getting the Libre 2 data into Garmin (i.e. patched apps etc), but having an integration with Garmin would be really helpful!

I think this number is shown because application on phone after reading generated notification on phone and you have configured connect to show this notification on watch? The same like with new email…

Using Freestyle LinkUp app connected to a reader or primary mobile app, my Garmin Smart Watch is able to display the glucose level number when I scan the Libre sensor with the reader/phone.

It is also important to note that the Libre 2 sensor is not a "true" CGM. The reader/phone receives a new glucose reading ONLY when the sensors NFC is read by the reader/phone. Bluetooth connected high/low glucose, signal loss, and system error alarms do not supply actual glucose numbers, only urge you to scan the sensor.

You are correct, just a standard app notification on watch. Was the easiest way to get some info to show on watch.

Maybe with upcoming Libre 3 (a "true" CGM, not a flash reader) there may be better integration options available.

Probably the best way to get your freestyle libre data to your watch is going the xDrip+ route (google "xDrip freestyle libre"). xDrip+ (an Android app) is much more advanced as the stock Dexcom or Abott apps. For example it opens endpoints to software devs. As an alternative to xDrip (if you're still stuck with iOS), you can set up a Nightscout site and pull your readings from that source. All can show up on your watch using this nice watchface for free:

Sorry for bump, but I am interested in this and I do think Abbott should be more open to an integrated approach. Although there are workarounds such as xDrip and Nightscout, they're not 'neat'.

Can we push Abbott here?

Hello, right now new libre features are available, which read glucose lvl every minute. Is there any application or watch face which show glucose lvl?

Hello! I use CGM Connect widget (bruder_jakob) on my Fenix 6 with Freestyle libre 3. It works great. Itś required that you set up LibreLinkUp and share your data with that account.
