Can you built an app what show the direction to start. A big Arrow is fine. You can make me extra happy with also show the distance to start. This is not like trace back but only the direction and how far I'am from start in a straight line. Kind Regards, Ruud Okker
On some devices (I know it's on the VVA and 23x) there is actually a "back to start" function you can turn on. It's an additional screen (not a data field) when you do a GPS activity.
For example, start a Outdoor run and start recording. On the 23x, then long press "up", you get a menu, and one of those items is "Back to Start". It shows an arrow to start, the distance, and your current heading. On the VVA, start a run, hit menu, and there's an option to turn on "back to start". You get the arrow and distance. There's probably something similar on other devices.
As far as a stand-alone app, there is one called "find my car" in the app store, which saves a location so you "find your car" and shows direction/distance back.
Hello Jim and Mike, thanks for your reaction. The Idea Find my car is in my opinion a great help in finding the solution I like to have. That's why I have made a waypoint of my starting point. With Navi to a storage waypoint I get an Arrow and distance to that point. Polar gives that in one button push. At the moment I try to configure a Garmin button. Thank for the great support and showing the way. I 'am HAPPY.
