My scenario is long distance touring. I use Battery Saver Mode to get as much time from the Edge battery, and it is invaluable.
The only hassle is getting from my current screen (usually map screen) into the settings to turn Batter Saver Mode off and on as needed (e.g. approaching a built up area, I need to keep the screen on for best navigation and safety so need to cancel Battery Saver Mode… then when I’m back on the open road, I can enable battery saver again).
I’m trying to cut down the number of taps (and associated distraction) needed to accomplish this. What would be brilliant would be a data field I could have e.g. on the map screen which turns Battery Saver Mode off and on (toggles it).
