On the 630, I would like to see a visual gauge for the workout page where the gauge is the pace of the step. The green section would be the range of step pace range and centered at the top. The gauge needle would be straight up if I'm dead-on on my pace. The other colors would be much smaller as I'm supposed to be in the green. The pace gauge automatically changes to the range of the current step.
Also on that screen would be my distance remaining for the step (large) and the entered pace range I'm supposed to be in. The gauge needle would be large and contrasting. An average pace for step needle would smaller and less contrasting.
On a workout step with no target then the gauge range would change to a speedometer 0 to a configurable speed. Some folks might want 20 mph, but I'd probably want 12 mph for my strides during warm up. Recovery and cool down speeds would be much less. Either way the open pace steps are less important to be able to get a quick glance to check to see if I'm on target pace.
Some of us are older and those of us who need glasses could benefit from a more visual display that changes with the workout step.
Yes, I've seen the custom pace data fields, but I've not seen one that follows the workout steps paces or that is field configurable (without a phone.)
I don't know that this is even possible as I've not yet seen anything that leverages data from the workout screen.
Thanks!
