Course Estimated Total Time

Hi all,

I seem to be unable to find an IQ datafield app that would display the estimated total time (ETT) for currently loaded course. I can display Distance Remaining, Estimated Total Distance, ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) and ETE (Estimated Time Remaining). What I would like to see is something like

ETT = Timer + ETE

ETT = ( Timer / Distance ) * Course_total_distance

Is there such app in the store? Thank you.

Total course distance isn't exactly available to Connect IQ apps, but distance to destination is.

So if you're okay with approximating the total course distance as Current Distance + Distance To Destination, you can use my data field AppBuilder to display what you want.

Use the following settings

Formula: (timer / distance) * (distance + distanceToDestination)

Display Format: Time

Unfortunately, there used to be a bug in the DistanceToDestination field where it incorrectly returns the distance to the next point. This was fixed on some devices, but I'm not sure if it was fixed on all devices. See:

TL;DR This was fixed on 935 and Fenix 5 Plus devices, but apparently not on:

* Forerunner 735xt

* Forerunner 945

* Fenix 6

* Marq

That's even better, thank you. I need to test if the bug still persists on Fenix 6 PRO.
