Please make the Garmin connect mobile and computer app match the settings and edits from the watch!!!
• Watch distinguishes between skiing & snowboarding but the connect app does not!!! I ski & snowboard and would like to track them separately. Why do I buy a $400 watch to have it all lumped together? Analytics matter to some people. Kinda why I bought the watch. If analytics didn't matter or the ease of an app, I'd save the money and type it into excel!
• When renaming an activity (edit activity) with the correct location or trail name, to not just have it say the County!!!! (Why would I want something generic???), it does not transfer my edits over to computer app!!! When you guys just recently merged my accidental new account with the existing one all files got reset! That means 3 years!!!!!!!!!!! of my manual entries erased!!!!! 3 years! Ask me how I feel about this? Again!
Why do I buy a $400 watch if the programs end up being so basic with such compatibility issues. Apples to apples. Not apples to Oranges.
I've submitted this issue numerous times now to garminsupport? garmindevelopers and garminengineers! I know this is not a selfish request but one that everyone will appreciate.
Please fix these syncing issues. • editing the names of my hikes for example in garmin connect does not transfer as is over to the computer app/program! It resets everything. Again, why do I bother taking the time to rename everything?
This should be absolute programming basics considering the complexity of the watch! Please fix these syncing issues. It matters. Thank you!
