I have been using CycIQ Fly6 and Fly12 for a couple years now and have captured many close passes by cars. However I find the video hard to edit and upload, and the cameras tend to have operating problems. So now I'm thinking of just getting the Garmin rear light with radar and mounting GoPro cameras on front and back. The issue that I want to figure out is if my Garmin 1030 can control the GoPro and auto-stop the recording when there is an incident detection. I have it set on the Garmin to contact my wife if I crash (did work in such a case) but can the same incident send a "stop recording" signal to my f/r GoPro cameras?
