real time altitude profile for Edge 1000 / 1030

Hello,

i would like to see my real-time position in the altitude profile of an entire route.

So my request is if there is any view on the Edge 1000 or Edge 1030 like in the SCREENSHOT with the orange dot moving in real-time through the altitude profile of the entire route.

Does anyone know if such an app already exists? Or if there is any interest for developing?

Or if there is already any setting in the edge conforming this.

With the elevation data screen on the edge the x & y axis can be set to show the entire profile by touching the scale values & using the +/- to adjust them, which should give what you are looking for.

The only problem is if you go off-course even momentarily on the 1030 it reverts to displaying your elevation history instead of the course profile & sets the x/y axis to arbitrary values based on that history. when you rejoin the course, the course elevation profile is displayed again however the x/y axis scale doesn't revert back to your settings.
