[REQUEST] data-field/app that displays real-time rowing cadence based on acceleration of boat through the stroke.

Hi guys, Newbie here,

often while rowing or kayaking its preferable to have the watch mounted to the boat rather than the wrist, but the default app and any current app I've tried cant calculate strokes/minute accurately like this.

There are these old apps: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/23e5e52a-9a22-4120-bd63-39ba9b3cba3c

and this one: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/b05952a0-c3be-462d-a854-c3b5d1164491

That do this quite well, but with outdated/ limited support. Does anyone have any expertise into how the cadence is derived from accelerometer data? I cant find a easy way to do it, but its obviously possible, as there is a substantial positive and negative acceleration between strokes that should be detectable.

Thanks for any Help
