Open Activity Type - All sensors available - save as GC activity types

My idea would be to create an app that has the possibility to include all sensors and then save the activity as one of the activities available on GC.
Basically you could use all available data in every activity.

So for my personal case i would like to include a cadence sensor - that works like a bike cadence sensor - into a paddle activity, which should then be saved as a StandUpPaddle Activity.

I agree, nowadays everyone look for personalisation, so instead of creating an app for each sport would it be possible to create an app enabling the user to select what he wants to measure, when, how and then name and record the activity ?

-The simplest way I could see it would be to turn on and off the app to record an activity.
-Once done, the user could select the parameters/sensors it would like to keep for this activity (This means that the app would have recorded everything at the beginning - steps, cadence, HR, calories... same as the daily tracking).
-Then he would name the activity.
-In the future when recording an activity in the app, the user would be able to reference it as an activity already saved (with his own indicators and preferred name) or create a new one. This way users could accurately track the activity they have been doing and set it up with the parameters/indicators of performance of their choosing.
  • Such apps are already in the CIQ app store.. Select the type and the senors to use....
