Is Garmin or Connect IQ Team planning to release an app in order to use the Garmin scale with Connect IQ devices?

The Garmin Index Smart Scale connects directly to Garmin Connect over WiFi. I'm not sure it is possible for devices to interact with it, regardless of ConnectIQ support.
Let's assume going out for training camp/vacation and no wi-fi available....the scale from what i understood on garmin webpage is BTLE and ANT+ giving to opportunity to transmit datas on those protocol (here Connect IQ should work for Fenix3/FR920,.....users)

BT and ANT+ are ONLY used to setup/change the WiFi settings. All data is sent using WiFi.
I’m not really sure there’s any consumer advantage in using ANT+ over Bluetooth Smart on the desktop for scale configuration alone, it’s probably a wash since they’d still have to ship a USB adapter to ensure broad compatibility. Had they enabled the ability to connect to older Garmin watches via ANT+, that might have been a selling point (albeit a slim one).
