extended display for Edge on TV/Tablet/mobile?

This is a real very good suggestion, why to buy an external app when you already have a nice and performant device (I have the edge 830). May be just on tablet would be a must

Of course, it's possible. That's what the Xert IQ app and mobile app is doing.

Sensor data -> Xert IQ app -> Xert mobile app -> website -> browser.

There's no reason the mobile app can't just display it on the mobile device.

The Garmin watches already allow the watch data to be displayed on an Edge.

yes, i have this idea originally from Xert, but to use this option you have to pay extra money to Xert by monthly subscription and i want a solution without paying extra money.

if there is a developer who can create a program like this i like to pay, but certainly not that high as all the other wants, or a one time payment, thats totally OK

That's a fair amount of work.

The background, i do a lot of Indoor Training, but my problem, i have eye glasses i cant wear at indoor training because it's to hot, so i can't read my display on my Edge, so it would be nice to have an extended display browser based.

yes, i can buy a Xert Licences, or Zwift or similar, but i think it's to expensive when you use it only as a Extended Display, because my Edge can control the Smart Trainer,

anyway, i know for this feature you need something to sync between your Edge and a Webservice, where you are registered, but i think it's possible to offer with smaller price as all those other Indoor Software, could be a good and small business?

BTW it's 2021 and a Web page can connect to an ANT stick and be able to read your heart rate belt, power meter, control your trainer etc. So this Xert thing seems really over-complicated.
