I would like a Multisport Distance data field

I have set up a multisport activity from Swimrun profile (or from triathlon) and tested multiple transitions between swim and run, it work great. But, I can seem to get the distance data for the complete swimrun session, i.e. the sum of all swim and run distances.

There is a Multisport Time, that does pretty much the same but for total time but none for distance. I started searching and I cant seem to find any data field that does this. Have anyone seen anything like this or do you think it would be possible to make such a data filed?

There's a data field which does this, but it's kind of hacky. Since each leg of a multisport activity is seen as a separate activity (and app execution instance) by a CIQ datafield, and there's no multisport stats available to CIQ apps, the datafield has no idea whether it's part of a multisport activity and has to resort to a hacky way of guessing that it is. I think the way it works is if the app is started a short time after it last terminated, it will assume that it's part of a multisport activity and continue to accumulate multisport distance, which is persisted to device storage.

That's my educated guess as to how it works, anyway.

I think this might work ok, but:

- transition distance is not counted

- it may be possible for the app to incorrectly think it's part of a multisport activity when in fact the user just did two unrelated activities in a row
