Seeing as how Garmin seem unable/unwilling, and seeing how the Edge 1000 and 520 will soon be able to carry C-IQ apps etc. here are some suggestions for programmers. I don't know if they are at all possible:-
Introduce av.power as a target over/above for a Strava segment
Allow Strava segment schematic map to be avoided altogether - Strava segments data to appear on ordinary data fields page.
Make notifications dismissable
Allow device orientation to be linked to activity profiles
Allow choice of tones for various alerts and functions
Allow mobile phone to be answered by a remote keypress.
Programmable lap key on the remote
