Auto Pause for Pool Swimming

New Garmin 245 fails to recognise brief stop at each end (to catch breath) Fitbit's recognise this and recommence giving accurate distance of total swim. Could an app be developed to accomodate this instead of having to press button to pause and resume. (Garmin please address this in firmware)

The best place to post this is in the 245 form, as it's a firmware thing, and not a 3rd party app, And to get it to Garmin, it's even better to use the form to make a request directly to Garmin: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/
