Hi there!
There is a great tracker in its 3rd version already, used by thousands of kiters, snowboarders etc.. to measure and track their tricks, jumps..etc..
would anyone, pretty please, make an app for it for Garmin Fenix 3 / 5?
thanks!

Some news: Woo has started a questionnaire to make an inventory on with what devices (Garmin but also phone OS) the integration is being requested for. More news in 4-6 weeks they say.
Here's the link…
Right, so it does exist: https://docs.woosports.com/docs/smartwatch-integration but only for Android Wear and Apple watch. I've sent the developers an email to see about other integration on the roadmap.…
I have already contacted the vendor. They're looking into the best way the info. I am a kitesurfer and developer so don't mind doing the work. I'll keep you guys posted.
I wouldn't mind doing this and have debated buying a Woo for this. Currently though, Woo does not support BT realtime results so the only thing that you could do now is showing results afterward sync (https://docs.woosports.com/v2.19/docs/faq''. This, to be honest, would be easier to go through on your phone. I'm expecting that Woo will change add this functionality in the future.

Seems like there is already integrationbut not with garmin watches. I do wonder how the packets look like and if it’s docimented somewhere.
Not sure what it uses to xmit data, but probably BLE.
With CIQ 3.1, apps can talk BLE to sensors, and assuming the BLE profile is available (what data and how it's sent) is available, it could be done.
But, the f3 and f5 don't support BLE in CIQ apps, so it would have to be a newer watch, and then it's finding a developer that does these sports. (not me!)
Cant exactly expect developer to go out and buy a USD170 device when he/she don’t even do the sport.
It might be available publicly, or maybe contact the vendor and ask where the info can be found.

There's a number of devs doing some CIQ BLE stuff now, so any questions, just ask!
Here's the video from the Summit about it: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/b/news-announcements/posts/adding-bluetooth-connectivity-to-your-connect-iq-projects
A blog post I did about interfacing to a Raspberry Pi: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/b/news-announcements/posts/would-you-like-some-raspberry-pi-with-your-connect-iq
And there are a number of posts about interfacing to varous other things in the forum.
thanks Niall! thatd be awesome, ill be waiting for updates!!
