Water intake app

Hello,

as a non-developer I don't really know what is possible and what isn't, but I think It would have been great to have Water intake application or widget directly in the watch (vivoactive etc.). What I mean is a simple app, where you would be able to set your daily goal of water consumption (e. g. 2l) and log drinks you take during the day (I imagine there would be predefined options for ammount of consumed water like 200ml, 500ml, 1000ml etc.). Some kind of status bar and possibility to see simple stats would be absolutely awesome.
  • I think that is a good idea, I was wondering myself that something like this doesn't exist yet. Maybe this has to be my first Garmin project :)

    Hi,

I just wanted to write a request here in "App Ideas" section and found this suggestion.

Some time ago, a "Drink Tracker" had been added in Garmin Connect (Android), but as far as I know, there's no possibility for data input directly on fenix 5S (or others), isn't it?

Wouldn't it be great to have a widget directly on fenix 5S (or others) for data input and for check of reaching the target? There are already some apps in IQ Store for water absorbtion, but non of them can sync data with Garmin Connect!!

Current possibility in Garmin Connect App Android:   3 different sizes of glasses/containers and a personal target can be added (I set 200ml + 250ml + 700ml for my different bottles/cups and a personal target 2l) and by pushing 200ml/250ml/700ml, absorbtion will be addet automatically. After having reached the target, a green sign appears.

I think, this should also be possible by selecting a widget in fenix and by pushing specially marked button 1 or 2 or 3. Current absorbtion, target and a sign for "having reached target" should we visible on display - and of cause, all data should be taken over by Garmin Connect.

Does anybody know, whether this could be possible or not?
