Forrunner 965 / Intervals instead Laps

If you do a workout it is called intervals instead of laps.

I will try to send an activity.

It seems to be a choice of the watch (the 965) to go on "interval mode" because when I train,  I alternate beetween run, walk and rest.
It's my way to train.

But, i had "Laps" with all others watches (945, 935, Fenix 5, ...).

it's a probleme for me because I use "Laps" to copy data to EXCEL to analyse the session !!!

Yes.

If I do a workout, I obtain "Intervals" on Garmin Connect.

I tried yesterday to créate a workout with with just "a repeat of 40 times" with end on "Lap button press".
It is better, because an internal equal a lap?

But I can't use "autolap".

I suppose it exist a parameter that disable the automatic switch to "Interval'".
I did not found it..

PS : if my english is bad, normal, I am french !

The older watches didn't have the run, walk mode, right? 

I am training, without workout, just pressing lap when i am goin run, or when i am goin walk, or when i am goin do stay on place to rest to drink, to eat, ....
I also parameter autolap with one kilometer (ti have a lap each km).

I am an ultra running, going to train sometimes for 10 hours or more.

I analyse the training with excel, analysing each lap : spedd, cardia frequency, etc ...

I just start the watch, choose "Running activity" then "start", then "lap button" then "stop", then "save" !

The activity is private so we can't see it. Change the privacy to everyone.
